BlackBerry Storm 2 - coming to... CarPhone Warehouse?

An eagle eyed friend of mine spotted this material in his local CPW store earlier today. He sent it over to me and I posted it via Twitter earlier this afternoon.
Despite no official announcement from RIM, I guess CPW have let the cat out of the bag! RIM will apparently be making an official announcement sometime next week (so I've heard). COme on guys, how about that other 'secret' handset... the Bold 9700?

Roller Disco at The O2
Went down to The O2 last night with some friends for some roller disco fun. To make it more interesting, we decided to set a theme: School Uniform!!
We managed to go the whole night with no-one in our group falling on their ASS... Which was amazing!!! I'm sure I must've looked scared whilst 'fisher price' skating around! LOL

Prive with Jermaine Dupri
Here's a pic of us all in the foyer at Planet Hollywood. Suffice to say, we weren't this presentable by the end of the nite!
I'm sad to say that I had an awesome experience there and that clubbing in the UK just isn't any match :-( LOL

TweetGenius released!!!
Here are the details from BoyGenius' website:
For those of you who haven’t yet fainted after reading the title, we have something extra special to share with you. It is a new BlackBerry Twitter application called TweetGenius — yes, it’s something that my team has cooked up, and we think the world of it. Dossy Shiobara, BlackBerry developer extraordinaire and myself have worked countless hours on bringing this application from a concept to a full-fledged Twitter communication tool. Up until now there have been a bunch of new Twitter clients popping up (UberTwitter, SocialScope, etc.) that have all missed that BlackBerry feel—the thing that every BlackBerry application is supposed to be have. You know, that let’s show off what a BlackBerry can do type of deal. We think we’ve created something this fabulous and past all the sexy visual effects (oh man, that *poof* effect is addicting), this is an application that works and works really well. It’s chock full of features — sending your GPS location, uploading pictures, unread tweet counters, keyboard shortcuts — and we’re now ready to soft-launch it. As of this moment, TweetGenius is available to purchase for a nominal fee for the BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Curve 8900 devices. Don’t feel left out though, it is only a matter of days before we launch support for the BlackBerry Storm, BlackBerry Curve 83xx and BlackBerry 88xx! Take a look at the short video sneak peak above, check out the application on the TweetGenius website, and more importantly, let us know what you think! Your TweetGenius experience is something we will take very seriously and we will incorporate as much user feedback as humanely possible in future updates. And hey, give us a little credit–We had over 50 testers and the application never leaked — ironic, eh?
Also, have a look at who is featured in the video ;-)

Limited Edition Selfridges Bold 9000
Doubt I'd pay £1000 for one myself, but I'll admit the yellow numbers on the keypad are a nice touch!

Introducing my Colorware 'Powder' Curve 8900
So some of you may have realised that I was in the US for about a fortnight recently. Whilst holidaying over there, I sent my Curve 8900 off to the good people over at Colorware and got them to give it a 'once over'. It cost me $129 for the paint job and another $50 to send back to the UK (24-48hr delivery via Fed-Ex) and my oh my am I happy!!
Here are some pics...

The ONLY niggling issue I have is that despite sending them my unbranded handset, I've ended up with the 'O2' camera/flash surround. The PIN and IMEI label of my handset are still intact, so not sure what's happened there.
There are lots of different colour combos you can create on the website (although using new colours incurs extra charges) and you can go wild with designs. Beware though, the 'send in service' is only available to US residents - unless you opt into their VIP status scheme... which costs a pretty penny.
